Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup smooth cashew butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup cacao powder
2 – 3 tbsp sugar (I prefer unrefined sugar - sucanat or panela) **, Optional
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips, divided
A pinch of sea salt, Optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl.
Add cashew butter and eggs, mix until smooth.
Incorporate cacao powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and a pinch of salt; mix well.
Gently fold in 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Transfer batter to an 8×8 parchment paper-lined pan
Bake for 20-22 minutes.
Once cooled, cut into squares.
