Recipe: Cucumber, mint, and lime water

Cucumber, mint, lime water

Cucumber, mint, lime water

This water is AMAZING! I have been drinking it nonstop for the past couple of days. It is so refreshing, cooling, hydrating, and tasty on these sunny days!

Ingredients:

  • Water

  • Cucumber, sliced

  • Mint leaves, rinsed and bruised

  • Lime slices

Instructions

  • Place water, sliced cucumber, mint, and lime slices in a large pitcher. Cover and refrigerate from 1-8 hours. Strain the water into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

  • I prefer to use well-washed, organic ingredients, so as to avoid any potential pesticides infusing into my water.

  • I recommend removing the lime slices after 6-8 hours to prevent the water from turning bitter. Then it can last more than a day.

  • In order to enjoy without the wait, put a few slices of cucumber, a few mint leaves, a thin slice of lime, and a few ice cubes in a bottle or jar. Fill the bottle/jar with water, seal, shake, and enjoy immediately.
